The town of Banchory unveiled a new coat of arms at a special ceremony in Banchory last week. Banchory’s original crest lapsed in the 1970s and now, after two years of work by the Banchory Community Council, the town has been presented with an updated coat of arms by Rt Hon the Lord Lyon King of Arms.

The Leys Estate Group congratulates everyone involved in an important moment in the town’s history which also celebrates the contribution the town has made to the north-east.
