Inchmarlo Golf Centre is excited to announce a new apprenticeship opportunity for an Apprentice Greenkeeper.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual willing to listen and learn, be part of a small team but also have the initiative to work on their own when required.

Ideally applicants will have their own transport as this position involves a 6am start. General hours of work will be 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday along with some weekends.

The successful candidate will learn the modern skills and knowledge to meet a greenkeepers job profile including maintaining the health of sports turf, renovating and repairing sports turf surfaces, use and maintenance of powered and non-powered hand tools, how to use and maintain ride-on mowers, personal development and more.

Whilst this is predominantly a work-based 2-year apprenticeship, your induction and additional training for short courses will be held at SRUC Elmwood College, Cupar, Fife. On completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive an SVQ 2 National Qualification in Sports Turf Maintenance.

For the duration of the apprenticeship, you will be fully employed by Inchmarlo Golf Centre.
