Optimum Physio is the latest company to join the diverse community of tenants at Banchory Business Centre.

Fiona Plender is a Chartered Physiotherapist with more than 20 years’ experience offering both one-to-one treatments and group Pilates classes.

The move to the business centre coincides with the easing of restrictions which now means that Fiona is able to welcome new clients to her treatment room on a one-to-one basis.

Fiona said: “During lockdown I adapted my business as much as possible moving both one-to-one consultations as well as group Pilates classes online via zoom.

“Although this meant I could continue to provide support to clients during the lockdown period, I am delighted to now be welcoming clients to my new studio.

“The health and safety of my clients is of course my main priority and I will be following the latest guidelines with regards to PPE, hygiene measures and social distancing guidelines specific to physiotherapy at all times.

“I have been finding a lot of clients coming to me with issues that have arisen during working from home. Maybe they have had a makeshift work area with an unsuitable chair, have been working from their living room sofa or breakfast bar. This can often be manageable for a short period but after a number of months new muscular pain or discomfort can become a regular occurrence.”

“I am happy to speak to anyone who may be experiencing this and would like a MOT before returning to their workplace.”

Fiona is an experienced Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist and is a registered provider with all the main insurance providers including BUPA.
