Inchmarlo Golf Centre is excited to announce a new apprenticeship opportunity for an Apprentice Greenkeeper.

This two-year, work-based apprenticeship is your chance to gain hands-on experience in sports turf maintenance while earning a National Qualification (SVQ 2) in Sports Turf Maintenance. You’ll be fully employed by Inchmarlo Golf Centre and have the chance to learn from industry professionals both on the job and through short courses at SRUC Elmwood College, Cupar, Fife.

The successful candidate will learn the modern skills and knowledge required to meet a greenkeepers job profile including:

• Maintaining the health of sports turf.
• Renovating and repairing sports turf surfaces.
• Use and maintenance of powered and non-powered hand tools.
• How to use and maintain ride-on mowers, personal development and more.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn, can work independently, and is ready to start work early (6am) with some weekend shifts.
