A Crathes-based dress agency is hosting a special fashion show in aid of Aberdeen-headquartered charity Charlie House.

Livi Loves Dress Agency, which is based at Milton of Crathes near Banchory, is hosting the event on Thursday, 6^th October showcasing its latest collections as well as highlighting the important work of Charlie House and the charity’s Big Build appeal.

Owner Jen White, who also assists her husband Simon with neighbouring businesses White Stag Barrels and Whitesky Photographics, is looking forward to the event which she hopes will become a regular fixture on the local calendar.

Jen said: “I really wanted to create an event which allowed people the opportunity to explore the fantastic range of preloved, vintage and designer items we have in store, whilst catching up with friends.

“Secondhand September has been a huge hit on social media and has really shown people that preloved clothing and accessories have so much still to offer. We are currently transitioning to our autumn stock which includes some amazing winter coats and boots and of course stunning evening wear which we are all looking forward to getting back into with the return of Christmas parties and charity balls following the lockdowns.

“On the evening of the fashion show we will be shining the spotlight on everything from casual outfits and accessories to occasion and Mother of the Bride as well as grooms outfits, shoes, bags and hats.

“It was also important to me that we supported a local charity through the event as we all understand how tough the past couple of years have been for organisations. 50% of ticket sales and all proceeds from the raffle will go directly to Charlie House.”

The event will take place in the Livi Loves shop and adjoining Milton Art Gallery with a finger buffet and refreshments provided by Milton Brasserie.
