Scottish Artist Hosts Talks At Milton Art Gallery
A Scottish artist who brings some of Scotland’s well-loved scenes and landmarks to life in his own unique way will be hosting two talks in Deeside on 21st and 22nd September.
Jonathan Wheeler will visit the Milton Art Gallery at Milton of Crathes, to give an insight into the skills and techniques he uses to produce his signature works.
His vivid style of art allows him to constantly find new ways to express his passion for the beauty of the Highlands and its architectural heritage through watercolour.
He will be at the Milton Art Gallery on 21st and 22nd September from 11am until 4pm with talks between 11.30am – 12pm, 2.30pm – 3pm on both days.
Born in Lancashire in 1958, Jonathan now lives in Findhorn and exhibits in galleries around the UK as well as in USA, Canada, Australia and Brazil.
Kareen Blyth, Manager at Milton Art Gallery, said; “We are delighted to welcome Jonathan to the Milton Art Gallery to share what has influenced his unique style and how he expresses his passion for the beauty of Scotland.
“Jonathan’s work always proves popular with our customers and visitors and I am sure the chance to hear from the artist behind the paintings will prove just as popular.”
The Milton Art Gallery is situated at Milton of Crathes, just minutes from Banchory, and is operated by the Leys Estate Group.
The gallery is open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm and from 11am on Sundays. Visitors are warmly welcomed.
